Hobby Farms

Two of my articles appear in the Hobby Farms Presents Ducks, Second Edition 2014. The first, The Duck Yard is an article that discusses a variety of shelters where ducks can be raised. Additionally, it includes a quiz about basic duck facts. The second is a collection of duck egg recipes and photographs including Pecan Raisin Pound Cake with Salted Butterscotch Sauce, Broiled Italian Eggs with Balsamic Reduction and Toasts, and Steak and Eggs on a Potato Haystack. pages 48-51 and 84-87.

Mentions

 Iron Oak Farm was given a small mention in the HOUR Detroit April 2012, Spring Fashion issue where our eggs were used in a photo shoot to accompany the article Pick of the Chicks in the Food & Drink section. (page 14, 41-43) The article discussed the quality of taste and nutrition of eggs laid by free-range hens.
